gotta say...having a quick scoping match to fill a sniper spot is just stupid...ppl with 4 bar will win every time over 3 bars. and im a pretty damn good sniper in game but shotty quickscoping cuz my connection is 2-3 bar. quickscope is flashy but being a good sniper is way more then just that...

first off if ure playin off of 2 bar connection snipigsint a good idea anyhow and sencodly a quickscoper is better thn a hardscoper at everything cause they can be more versitile with the sniper and they can kill them alot faster to make sure nobody else on there team is injured

I would much rather have a hardscoper who is good with a secondary than a quickscoper who tries for close quickscopes when his opponent has a ump.

Ideally, snipers should be getting as many kills with their secondary as with their sniper. A sniper's main purpose is to spot enemies and call them out to their team.

theres a reason iw put in pocket m16's into the game...close combat situations like like steven said. running around quickscoping and turning a corner with 3 ppl in front of you is much easier to deal with with akimbo raficas or m9s then trying to quickscope all 3 without getting hit. Just saying a SNIPER doesnt need to be able to run around, esp in search games, they need to sit and call out ppl they see foolishly running around to there teamates.

FOXTROT TEAM- This is the Defense team, responsible for defending the rear of the team, preventing the enemy from performing a flanking maneuver, and protecting acquired assets, the teams flag, or planted bombs.

exactly dude.
the most useful thing a sniper can do is call out enemies - so the echo and delta teams can take care of them.

Agreed, I think Hardscopers are better than Quick Scopers because HArdscopers still get the job done and the dont think they can take on as many people up close as an assault so they take their shot and if they miss, they call em to the team and move on. Quick Scopers are just mainly for being flashy and usually think they can take multiple enemies out up close with their primary.

I dont agree that hardscopers are better because quickscopers can obviously hardscope as well. I just think in case of emergency quickscopers can protect themsevles. As long as they are not being retarted and trying to go kill the whole like they have an AR in thier hands. But to get in it shouldnt be a quickscoping match, thats dumb. Like micojive said the player with more bars will win. I think maybe one of us could spectate you in a SnD game or something like that. IDK.

i think to get into any of these different divisions it should just be by request of the leaders of them. If you play with a person for a few rounds/days w/e and see they do well...ask em to join. you cant tell how well a team will run together without actually playing. even if someone can get a 5 k/d...plant successful 3 games solo doesnt mean they play well together with other people or certain people.

Ok to end this debate...I dont think we should be arguing who is better, quickscopers or hard scopers. I think the point was that quick scoping should not be a requirement for a tryout. Sure, a quick scoper may be proffeciant, but in a competitive environment a sniper should not be obsessed with quick scoping - a secondary like rafficas should be an equally viable option for CQBs.

Maybe but the foxtrot team is also about protecting from flankers, and if he can do that with a TAR rather than a sniper, we could still have a good canidate
