I cant see game invites

When anyone invites me to play MW2 i don't get a notification at the top right corner that someone is inviting me. It used to appear, but now it doesn't. Does anyone know why this might be happening?

Yeah, and out of no where, 2 days ago, i saw the invite from Steven.... idk...its so weird, but I saw it while I was playing SnD and I was dead, could it be IW made it so it is hidden while playing a match, but if you're dead then you can see it.
